Adventures in science

These are the four basic building blocks of DNA:

A = adenine

T = thymine

C = cytosine

G = guanine


If the amino acid lysine is substituted for adenine, you have:

L = lysine

T = thymine

C = cytosine

G = guanine


Notice also:

L = Larry

T = the

C = Cable

G = Guy
